How did I learn about this “always be prepared for dessert” hack?

So the other night we went out to dinner with our friends, Danny & Sherrie. We decided to go back to their house for dessert – Sherrie said she could whip something up.

We told her we didn’t want her to go through the trouble, we could just grab something on the way – she swore to us it really wasn’t any trouble.

So when Sherrie pulled these Reese’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Bites out of the oven I begged her for the recipe!

When she told me the recipe I couldn’t believe it -not to mention my recent obsession with bite-sized anything!!! (When they are bite-sized the calories don’t actually count – true story!!)

I get asked all the time what kind of mini muffin pan I use because my cups pop out so easily. I live for anything silicon and this is the muffin pan I use!

How many stars would you give this recipe?

    1. For sizing purposes, I recommend a mini muffin pan. You can use a non-silicone pan, just be sure to really spray it with non-stick spray so they don’t get stuck.

  1. Wondering if you need to make a well in the ball of cookie dough for the Reese’s cup to sit down into? Or do you have to mash it down inside the baked cookie dough?

    1. So I kind of push the cookie dough down into the muffin cup and put the candy on top of it. You can form it around the cup and place it in the middle if you prefer.

    1. It depends on what type of cookie dough you are using. I mention to follow what it tells you on the package. It is typically 350 degrees. Enjoy!

Trader Joe’s has mini sunbutter cups that we love! My daughter has a peanut and tree nut allergy too so I just substitute sunbutter for peanut butter ;~)

  2. I wanted to know the answer to this too. Can you BUY cookie dough? I don’t cook, so how do I get it without making cookies?

  3. Is there a recipe for the cookie dough? What if I don’t have access to ready made cookie dough I see in the pictures
