Coming home from my kids Valentine’s Day party is almost like Halloween these days. That’s why I am always looking for non-candy Valentine’s Day giveaways for our parties. 
I adore Valentine’s Day. Anything with pink and hearts just screams my name! That is why I just adore these Love Bug Fruit Cups. They just have cute written all over them!
As a room mom, I was always looking for some easy and fun projects for our classroom parties. These Valentine’s Day Love Bug Snack Cups are perfect! They are super easy to make and what I really love about them, is that they are a healthy option!

How to Make Love Bug Valentine Snack Cups
Materials needed (affiliate links included):
- Pink craft foam
- Scissors
- Dole Fruit Cups in Red Gel
- Stick on Googly Eyes
- Small Sparkly pom poms
- Large sparkly pom poms
- Sparkly pipe cleaners
- Hot glue gun
Instructions:
- Begin by cutting out heart shapes from pink craft foam. These will be the feet of your love bug.
- Turn the snack cup upside down and stick on two eyes to one side of it (either use stick on eyes or use a glue gun to place a small dab of glue on the eyes to stick on to the cup.
- Below the eyes, use a glue gun to attach a small sparkly pom pom for the nose.
- Cut a sparkly pipe cleaner in half.
- Glue the two pieces of pipe cleaner to the back of the snack cup and shape them into squiggles.
- Glue a large sparkly pom pom to the top of each piece of pipe cleaner that you glued to the back of the snack cup.
- Use glue to attach two heart shaped feet to the bottom of your upside down snack cup to form the feet of your love bug.
