Frozen S’mores recipe is a simple spin on the traditional fireside treat, easily revised as freezer-friendly layered dessert without stepping foot near a flame.
Filled with the same chocolate, graham cracker, and marshmallow flavors as the classic campfire sandwich, this summertime staple is easy to make in a fun and creative cold and refreshing format.
Frozen S’mores With Cool Whip
Our Frozen Smores recipe is a quick and easy way to transform the classic camping treat into a delicious frozen dessert; no baking, melting, or fire needed.
Prepared with whipped topping combined with both chocolate pudding and a cream cheese marshmallow mixture, the lightened-up chocolate pudding layer is spread above the marshmallow layer and sandwiched between graham cracker squares.
Much like the campfire classic, this no-bake smores dessert has a graham cracker base with chocolate and marshmallow in the middle, but these snacks skip the stick and are frozen in a baking pan, sliced, and served like an individual ice cream sandwich.
When it’s too hot (or cold) outside for cooking over open flames, there’s no reason to miss the fireside fun – this s mores bars recipe simply revises the steps so you can serve your sandwiches any time or season.

Tips For Making The Best Frozen S’mores
- Make sure to thaw your cool whip in the fridge and let your cream cheese come to room temperature before mixing them with the other ingredients.
- Line your pan with parchment paper and keep the sides high for easy removal.
- Don’t worry if the graham crackers don’t stick to the frozen layers right away. Just let them sit for a few minutes to let them soften slightly before serving.
- Allow the s’mores to sit for 15 minutes before slicing into individual sandwiches — you’ll want the chocolate frozen layer to soften up a bit.
How to Store Frozen S’mores
- To Store: To store, tightly wrap each s’more square individually with plastic wrap and transfer to a freezer-safe bag. They will keep frozen for up to 3 months.
