Nutella Fruit Dip or Dessert

This creamy Nutella Dip for fruit and fun snacks is so quick and easy, it should simply be called a Nutella dipping sauce rather than a recipe!

It takes mere minutes to mix together Greek yogurt, Nutella spread, and vanilla, top it with chocolate chips, and serve it with fresh fruit, cookies, or skewers (like a cold kid-friendly fondue).

This chocolate Nutella sauce pairs perfectly with practically all of your favorite dippers (including your finger!) – or simply savor it by the spoonful with a scoop of berries and bananas or on a piece of toast.

Nutella does so much more than add flavor to fruit. Try this spread in my Nutella Truffles, Nutella French Toast Roll-Ups, and Nutella Banana Bread Bites.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make my Nutella fruit dip in advance?

Yes, you can make this Nutella dip a few days in advance and store it covered in the fridge. I do not recommend making it any earlier than that because it begins to lose its fluffy texture.
Most fruits can also be prepped ahead of time and stored in the fridge, however, I like to prepare my fruit right before serving to keep it from browning.

What flavor yogurt should I use for this Nutella cheesecake recipe?

I like to use either vanilla yogurt or plain yogurt for this recipe. Any others will have their flavor overpowered by the Nutella or fight with it to be tasted.

Can I use other chocolate-hazelnut spreads in this recipe?

Any chocolate hazelnut spread will taste delicious in this recipe — you do not have to buy name-brand Nutella.
For a healthier option, you can try using Justin’s chocolate hazelnut spread.

Can I freeze this Nutella dip?

This dip is not suitable for freezing!
