Easter Cookie Cups

So you want to make a delicious Easter dessert, but need a new idea. These Spring Easter Cookies are just the thing. What is so great about these cookies is that you can use store-bought cookie dough OR you can use this great sugar cookie recipe of mine.

These cookies are so easy to make. They look so much harder than they are. All you need to decorate them is some frosting, sprinkles and some cute Easter topping decorations. I found the adorable chick at Michael’s, but there are tons of possibilities.

How to make adorable Easter Cookies

These Easter Cookies are all about the decoration. Once you make your sugar cookie cups in a mini muffin pan and let cool, you will start the decorating.

You will frost the top of the cookies and then put your (affiliate links) green sprinkles in a small bowl and roll or dip the top of the cookie into the sprinkles!

Want to really have some fun with them, let the kids get creative. Grab a bunch of different decorations like these Bunny Icing Decorations or these sweet edible candy flowers or how about these chocolate mini Easter Eggs (these are my favorite) and let the give go to it.

They can add the cute toppings of their choice! No two Easter Cookie Cups need be the same!

This is also a great classroom project for a spring activity. Kids love to play with their food. You can have them baked ahead of time and then bring in a bunch of different toppings.
