No-Bake Candy Cane Fudge

The first time I tried this Candy Cane fudge recipe, I couldn’t believe it. It’s absolutely delicious and best of all, it is so easy to make.

I know that sometimes the word fudge can intimidate people. It can be difficult to make, if you want it to be, but have no fear, this is one of the easiest fudge recipes you will ever find! The prep time is only about 10 minutes long and it only requires four simple ingredients.

Bonus: This recipe can be made well in advance and put in the freezer until you’re ready to serve it up or give it as a gift.

Can I Freeze Fudge

One of my favorite things about this fudge recipe is that it can be frozen. When the holiday season hits and I feel like I have a million and one things to do, it’s nice to know I can make this well in advance and throw it in the freezer until it’s needed.

  • To freeze your candy cane fudge, you’ll want to let it cool completely. Then, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap. I like to store it in an airtight container as well to keep it extra fresh.
  • When you’re ready to use it, simply take it out of the freezer and let it thaw enough to cut it into squares. Be sure to let it thaw completely before serving it!

I usually make a double or triple batch and keep it frozen until I am ready to give it as a gift or eat it up.

it didn’t set up. I followed the directions but just ended up with a gooey sticky mess once taken out of the fridge to cut. The same problem with the butterscotch. great flavor, didn’t set completely. Any suggestions???

  2. I want to love this recipe but it’s difficult to navigate and hard for my laptop to keep up. It’s the ads simultaneously playing, the drug ads at the bottom, the suggested recipes at the top….I can’t get to a place where I can comfortably read the recipe. Even the Jump to Recipe jumps to an ad.

    1. So very sorry and thank you for the feedback. The recipe card has the entire recipe and instructions with the least instrusive ads. I appreciate you putting up with the ads though, it is how I can pay for all of the things that keeps this website running, like recipe development, ingredients, photography, etc and allows me to continue bringing you yummy recipes.
