Ingredients / Shopping List

  • Linguini pasta – You could use any type of long noodle to get the same effect. If you’re not a fan of long noodles, small noodles like penne or rotini could be used. This recipe can also be made gluten free by simply swapping for gluten free noodles or zucchini noodles for a low-carb meal.
  • Whole milk
  • Yellow onion
  • Unsalted butter
  • All-purpose flour
  • Everything bagel seasoning -try our homemade version here!
  • Salt & pepper
  • Cream cheese
  • Grated pecorino-romano cheese – If you do not like pecorino-romano cheese, grated parmesan cheese will be just as delicious. This would make it very similar to a fettuccine alfredo sauce.
  • Fresh parsley (optional garnish) – You can substitute chopped chives or green onions for the parsley. You can also add an extra ¼ cup of grated cheese for the garnish

Substitutions and Additions

  • PROTEIN: This dish is delicious with the addition of grilled boneless-skinless chicken breast, grilled shrimp, or salmon for added protein to the meal. I love to use a rotisserie chicken cut up in my pasta dishes.
  • VEGETABLES: Feel free to add your favorite vegetables to your pasta. I personally love to add broccoli and mushrooms to mine!

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp everything bagel seasoning

Garnish

  • 1 tbsp everything bagel seasoning
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped *optional*
