We love all things holiday! Two of our favorite and most popular posts of all time are our DIY Peppermint Candy Bowl and our Peppermint Candy Spoons (serve these with some hot chocolate and they are de-licious and make a cute DIY gift!)

Easy DIY Christmas Decorations
I may be Jewish, but I love the Christmas holiday. I love going to my friends houses and helping them decorate their trees!
When I was in high school I loved going caroling with my drama and choir friends! I always got excited when I started hearing all of the Christmas music on the radio.
I wouldn’t miss the holiday specials – Rudolph the Red Noised Reindeer, How the Grinch Stole Christmas (not the Jim Carrey version), The Year Without a Santa Claus (love the Heat Miser), Charlie Brown Christmas, Frosty the Snowman – sigh and It’s a Wonderful Life (THE BEST!) – I love them all!!!!
That’s why I am always looking for cute and easy DIY holiday decorations – these are easy to do and fun for the whole family! Not too mention, they are cheap to make! Why get expensive store bought Christmas decorations, when you can make them with your kids!
I will be embracing my inner Santa’s little elf this year and returning to my youth (when we could make Christmas decorations in art class in elementary school) and creating some fun holiday crafts with my kids!
Jewish or Christian – Hanukkah or Christmas – it is all about getting fun and getting crafty!!! Whatever you celebrate – here are some really fun EASY DIY holiday decorations you can do with your kids (or probably in my case, with my friend Maria because my kids will get bored and want to play video games – Maria – you in?)

AWESOME ideas!!!! And easy enough that I MIGHT be able to do it myself!!! Thanks !!!
love all your ideas; will try the candycane centerpiece; always interested in the Jewish faith and all the horrific they have been through, but continued to flourish and survive; Jesus is Jewish and as a Christian I believe that one day all Jews will believe in Him.
As a Christian who loves the Jewish people and Israel I celebrate and embrace Jewish customs and I always celebrate Hanukkah too. As a Christian I am able to find complete meaning in the Festival of Lights and remember always that Jesus said, “I am the Light…” I think that we can be true to our own faith while helping others to celebrate their own as long as it does not dishonor ones own…or dishonors the other faith either. I find complete joy in seeing both the Menorah and the Christmas tree lights reflecting in my living room windows. My son-in-law made a beautiful large Menorah using wood from a wine barrel. ..it was my favorite Christmas present and I broke down into tears as soon as I opened it. It was perfectly fitting in my family for me to recieve a Menorah for Christmas. My grandson wanted Dreidels for Christmas!
Would Love to see a Photo of it!! ?❤️❤️
Do you cut handles off milk jug? Also, did you cut holes in bottom to put lights in?
We made the snowmen with the gallon jugs, instead of earmuffs, we put hats on them!
What did you use for hats?
How do You light the lights? Plug needs to come out, but; HOW? Where?
The link to the Candy Cane Centerpiece goes to Yahoo
That is so strange – the website that I found it on is totally gone! I searched all over for it and it is just gone?

Some of these ideas are very neat…and some even look easy enough for the kids to do…the snowman milk cartons, decorating the door…very neat…cant wait to get kids together and get started!
