Oreo Fluff Ingredients

Oreo Fluff ingredients
  • Whole milk: Whole milk gives Oreo fluff its creamy texture and helps the pudding thicken properly. You can use 2% milk, but skip skim or non-dairy options, as they may impact the consistency.
  • Instant vanilla pudding mix: This creates Oreo fluff’s smooth texture and sweet flavor, thickening quickly without cooking. Try different flavors, like instant cheesecake pudding, white chocolate pudding, chocolate pudding, or Oreo pudding mix. But avoid regular pudding, as it needs heat to set, instant pudding mix works best.
  • Whipped topping: You can also use Cool Whip or a homemade whipped cream.
  • OREO cookies: I am an Oreo purist at heart, but this easy Oreo fluff recipe will work wonderfully with any Oreo cookie flavor because the fluff’s base is just vanilla. Try folding mint Oreos, Golden Oreos, Double Stuf Oreos, or your other favorite flavors into your fluff. You can also use gluten-free sandwich cookies.

Tips & Serving Suggestions

  • Oreo cookies can be crushed with a rolling pin or in a food processor.
  • Before serving the fluff, chill it for at least 1 hour (2 hours is even better). This will give the pudding enough time to set up.
  • Serve in small dishes, enjoy like a mousse, and top with mini marshmallows.
  • This is great as a dessert dip. Pair it with strawberries, pretzels, graham crackers, animal crackers, or, of course, Oreo Cookies!

Proper Storage

  • To Store: You can store your Oreo fluff it in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • I do not recommend freezing this dessert. The texture will change significantly. It is better enjoyed fresh!
