No Bake Nutella Pie features cream cheese, hazelnut spread, cream, and instant chocolate pudding in an Oreo crust. Make it in 15 minutes, it’s ultra-creamy and delicious!
Our easy Nutella Pie recipe uses only 4 ingredients to form its chocolate-flavored nutella cream cheese filling then it’s spread and sets inside a pre-made pie crust.
It takes 15 minutes to beat the chocolate hazelnut spread and cream cheese; pour in the cream and pudding powder, then mix it until you’ve formed a smooth, fluffy Nutella filling and Cool Whip on top.
This Nutella cream pie recipe is a cross between a mousse pie and a no-bake chocolate pudding pie – the cookie crust adds a sweet crunch that perfectly compliments the light, creamy filling.
Hazelnut spread does so much more than add flavor to my other favorite Nutella cheesecake desserts like my Nutella Truffles and Nutella Dip!

Nutella Pie Ingredients
- Cream cheese
- Hazelnut spread: You can use Nutella or a generic brand of hazelnut spread for this pie.
- Heavy cream
- Instant chocolate pudding
- Packaged Oreo cookie crust
- Frozen whipped topping or Cool Whip
Substitutions and Additions
- Create Without Heavy Cream: You can substitute half and half or whole milk for the heavy cream, but you may not get as thick a pie. If you use anything with less fat than whole milk, such as fat-free milk, you may want to start with just 1 cup and add more only if the mixture is too thick.
- Pick Your Pudding: You can also use a vanilla pudding mix or a white chocolate pudding mix for a slightly different but still delicious flavor.
- Create Your Crust: I love the ease of using a premade crust for this pie; however, you can make your own chocolate cookie pie crust or chocolate graham cracker crust by mixing the crumbles with butter.
- Decorate Your Dessert: For a pretty presentation, you can pipe whipped cream or Cool Whip on top of your pie, sprinkle on some mini chocolate chips, chopped hazelnuts, or chocolate shavings or add a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
How to Make Nutella Pie
- Form The Filling: Beat the cream cheese and Nutella together until creamy and fully combined, then pour in the heavy cream and pudding mix and beat until you have a smooth, fluffy mixture.
Pro Tip: Use a spatula to scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl half way through to incorporate everything. - Scoop And Spread: Scoop the mixture into the Oreo pie crust and spread it evenly inside. Wrap the pie loosely in plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 4 hours or overnight to set.
- Decorate: Pipe whipped topping around the edge and sprinkle with mini chocolate chips or chocolate shavings.
- Slice And Serve: Cut into 8 pieces and serve chilled. Enjoy!
Tips For Making The Best Nutella Pie
- It is essential that all of your cream cheese is at room temperature before mixing. This will help ensure your filling is smooth and creamy.
- I like to set the cream cheese out 1-2 hours before I make my filling but in a pinch you can microwave it, unwrapped, in 15-second intervals until softened.
- For the creamiest, richest tasting treat, use full fat cream cheese for your pie filling.
How to Store Nutella Pie
- To Store: Nutella pie can be covered with plastic wrap or in an airtight container and stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
- To Freeze: Nutella pie can be frozen in a freezer-safe container for up to 6 months and thawed overnight in the refrigerator before serving.
