How to Make Cinnamon Roll Waffles

  2. Cook: Cut the dough into 5 rolls, flatten each your hands, and place them, one at a time, into the waffle maker. Bake for 3 to 5 minutes until golden brown.

Tip From Our Recipe Developer

  • I do not recommend spraying your waffle maker with cooking spray if it has a non-stick surface because it may damage the non-stick coating of your waffle iron. You can brush the surface with melted butter as well to prevent the waffles from sticking.
  • If you want to keep your waffles warm in between batches, you can place them in the oven at 200 degrees or toast them for a few seconds to crisp them up.
  • I recommend placing the cooked waffles on a wire rack to allow air to circulate underneath them. This way they will retain their crispness without becoming soggy from the steam.

Storage

  • To Store: Store your waffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • To Freeze: Place your waffles in a freezer-safe bag or container and freeze them for up to 3 months.
  • To Reheat: You can reheat your waffles in the microwave or in the waffle maker until warmed through.
