Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get the crispiest bacon?

For the crispiest bacon, bake it in the oven on a baking tray. You can cook the bacon the night or even the day before. Either way you cook the bacon, just make sure to let it sit on a paper towel before adding it to your sandwich to drain the bacon fat so you don’t end up with an extra greasy sandwich.

How do I slice an avocado?

To slice an avocado, cut it in half by running the knife around the pit and twisting the two halves to open the avocado. Remove the pit and scoop the flesh from the skin of each half.

What is the healthiest bacon to buy?

When trying to eat healthier bacon, look for one that is uncured. Uncured bacon does not have any added sodium nitrate. This ingredient is what most bacon makers add to their product to preserve and color it.
