Fluffy Coke Is The Latest Soda Trend To Go Viral
I am serious about my soda, so when I saw the latest Fluffy Coke food trend on social media, I admit that I was skeptical. But, in my honest review, It turns out that the original content creator, Emma Grace (and her Memama), got it right! (Check her out on Tiktok!)
Some cynics and recipe doubters have called this latest food trend a sugary disaster. Yes, it’s rich, maybe messy, and seems a bit sticky with its marshmallow fluff slathered inside of your drinking glass. But once you move beyond the suspicion, you’ll see why Memama made it famous.
This drink is fun for all ages, with a fizz that stands up to a root beer float. Some even argue that the marshmallow fluff gives Coca-Cola a creamy texture, even creamier than an ice cream soda. It tastes similar to a dirty soda with flavored syrup.
So stop scrolling, and trust me! It’s a sweet, bubbly drink when the day’s got you down. Perfect for a hot summer day or the perfect afternoon pick-me-up.
What Is Fluffy Coke
Fluffy Coke is a fun, sweet twist on a classic Coca-Cola soda fountain drink. It recently became a trend on TikTok and has taken off across the platform. Fluffy Coke is made with 2 ingredients: a can of coke and some marshmallow fluff. Simply pour the soda into a marshmallow fluff-coated glass and watch the carbonation create a frothy, creamy, bubbly beverage.
Fluffy Coke Ingredients
- Marshmallow fluff: I do not recommend using the Jet Puff brand of marshmallow fluff as it doesn’t react the same as the Marshmallow Fluff brand. Marshmallow creme will also leave you disappointed and won’t give your drink the same sweetness as Fluff.
- Coca-Cola: There are a lot of fun possibilities and soda options you can try in place of Coke. The marshmallow will work well with different soda flavors like root beer, Dr. Pepper, cream soda, orange soda, and Cherry Coke. While plenty of sugar is in the drink, you can cut a few calories with a can of diet coke (I am a diet coke girl and it works great)!
- Ice: You don’t have to use ice, but I definitely suggest chilling the Coke before use. If you don’t use ice, you will need more Coke to fill the glass.

How to Make Fluffy Coke
- Coat The Cup: Spread a large spoonful of marshmallow fluff to the inside of the glass, so that it makes a thick coating all the way to the top.
- Pour In The Soda Pop: Fill the cup with ice, and slowly pour the Coca-Cola over the top.
- Serve: Top with a maraschino cherry and sip through a straw. Enjoy!
Serving Suggestions
There are endless ways to serve your Fluffy Coke so that it becomes the best soda for you! Top off your fluffy coke with a maraschino cherry and a dollop of whipped cream, or a cold foam top, sip it through a fun straw, frost your glass in the freezer, or use the cutest cup you can find!
Tips & Variations
- Make With More Or Less Marshmallow: When making fluffy coke, feel free to use more marshmallow fluff, or less fluff. This drink is easy to adjust for personal preferences.
- Coat The Cup: Use a Small Spatula or spoon to apply the marshmallow fluff to the inside of the glass. It should wipe on smoothly. Rub it on like icing. I like making a thicker layer so the fluff doesn’t immediately dissolve once the Coke is poured in.
- Fill With More Flavor: To make a fluffy, dirty soda, add a squeeze of lime juice or a teaspoon of a flavored syrup (I love vanilla or cherry syrup).
Proper Storage
- To Store: Do not store this fluffy coke once assembled. It’s disgusting if it’s left to sit in a fridge. Drink immediately!
