Filled with healthy, nutrient-dense people-food, these dog treats bake up with a classic cupcake look, then they’re piled high with pet friendly frosting so they’re perfectly safe to feed your pup.

When you make your own dog safe cupcakes from scratch, you know exactly what you’re placing in the muffin pan – there are no nitrates, harmful additives, or toxic chemicals – it’s pure wholesome human food that’s fit for canine consumption.

This peanut butter dog cupcake recipe does double duty as a DIY less expensive alternative to commercial store-bought peanut butter pupcakes and it provides your pet with a dog-safe snack that’s perfectly portable for doggie playdates and birthday parties.

Just like humans, every dog is different, so this is not meant to be a one-pup-fits-all dog safe cake recipe. Check with your vet before adding any new food to your dog’s diet.

  1. Can I make them in mini cupcakes instead? If so, what should I place oven temperature at and for how long?

  2. If I leave out the peanut butter, should I substitute something else? My dog won’t eat peanut butter.
