Christmas Truffle Recipe! Easy &No-Bake!
What can I say, there is something about chocolate and peanut butter that just completes me! I can say “no” to a lot of desserts, but never to a peanut butter treat!
When you are thinking about your holiday baking list, you don’t want to miss out on these Christmas Truffles.
They are also a great project to make with your kids! Their little hands are the perfect sizes to roll the little peanut butter balls! You may want to help them out with the dipping of the chocolate, but the will love getting creative and decorating them with sprinkles!
Ingredients / Shopping List
- Peanut butter – you can use creamy or chunky if you want some peanut pieces!
- Powdered sugar
- Butter – I typically use unsalted butter
- White chocolate – I use melting chocolate (like a baking bar or bark) or candy wafers
- Sprinkles, melted milk chocolate, coconut, or chopped nuts
How to Make the Peanut Butter Christmas Truffles
- Combine powdered sugar, peanut butter, and butter.
- Stir to combine the ingredients with a large spatula.
- Roll scoops into round balls of dough.
- Place on parchment paper and refrigerate for about 15-30 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave.
- Dip the dough bites into the melted chocolate and then place them on wax or parchment paper.
- Sprinkle with the desired topping and let them sit until the chocolate hardens.

Tips
- Be sure to sprinkle the topping onto the freshly dipped truffle before the chocolate is completely dried.
- This recipe makes about 18-20 bites, depending on how big you roll them.
- Don’t worry about the bites not being in perfect ball shapes. Once they are chilled, you can reshape them right before dipping them into the chocolate. You can also dip them twice for a thicker shell.
- Melt half of the chocolate to use first. Depending on the size of your truffles you may not need an entire pound.
How to Store
Store truffles in an airtight container. Place wax paper (or parchment paper between layers to prevent them from sticking together.)
They can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 1 week and in the freezer for up to 2 months. (Just thaw frozen truffles in the fridge overnight!)

Ingredients
