It is cold out here in Michigan – colder than I can remember in years! This has been a long, long winter and we are not even half way through it yet. Nothing warms you up on a cold winter day like a hot bowl of hot chili! When it comes to chili, there really is no right or wrong – it is just what sounds good to you at that very moment. I have found some great looking chili recipes that should keep me busy over the next few weeks and hopefully clear the path for spring and summer cocktails to come!

  1. You would do well in Texas because traditional Texas chili doesn’t have beans. My husband grew up here so there is NO way he is going to put beans into chili!!!

Thanks for including the Tim Love recipe. It is super good.

    1. Holly, I was born and raised here and chili without beans is just so weird to me. lol The more beans the better.

Has your husband ever been to the Texas Chili Parlor in downtown Austin? Excellent stuff if he is a chili lover.
