This super simple Apple Snickers Salad recipe is a sweet and tart dessert salad, easily made in 10 minutes with a packet of vanilla pudding, milk, whipped cream, apples, Snickers, and caramel sauce.
With the perfect combination of crispy, chewy, crunchy, and creamy textures, this candy bar salad tastes like a big caramel apple coated in cream.
This Apple Snicker Salad makes for an easy dessert that is sure to be a hit!
A Snickers Salad is not your typical dressed greens that comes before dinner; even though it does contain green color, it’s more of a dessert than a meal starter.
Making this snicker apple salad is as simple as dicing fresh fruit and candy into bite-sized pieces, then mixing it with an easy pudding mixture and garnishing with a drizzle of caramel sauce.
I love how the tart apple flavor balances out the sweetness of the other ingredients in this apple snicker dessert.
With plenty of pieces of the peanut-caramel-nougat bar in every delicious bite, don’t let the title deceive you because this candy apple salad should be served after supper!

Can you make Snicker Salad the night before?
Yes, you can make this dessert ahead of time, but you will need to treat the apples to keep them from oxidizing and browning.
You can easily prevent your apples from browning by tossing them with fresh lemon juice before adding them to the salad.
If you do not have lemon juice, you can also soak your apples in ginger ale or 7up. If the apples are treated, this dessert salad will stay fresh for 3-4 days in the fridge.
Snicker Apple Salad substitutions
- Pick Your Pudding: You can swap the pudding flavor in this recipe for Snicker Salad. Some other options can include white chocolate, butterscotch, caramel, French vanilla, and even chocolate.

Mine is better & healthier than yours. Try it. Make a waldorf salad of apples, celery, seedless grapes, nuts. Drizzle O J on the apples to keep them from turning. Add your Snickers. Dress with yogurt or Cool Whip. Works w/firm pears, celery, dried cranberry or cherry, nuts & Snickers as well.
question what other candy bar can we use. can’t have chocolate?
You could really use any of your favorite candy in here! Payday is the first that comes to mind.
Is that 13.4 oz of pudding?
Thank you, Lynn. That was a typo in the recipe card. It should be 1 – 3.4 box of pudding. I just fixed it! Thank you again for letting me know!
