Hello Princess Pinky Girl readers!! Shonee here again from Hawthorne and Main!! Hope you are all having a great week! The weather here has been so warm lately! All this warm weather has been getting me so excited for spring.
Since moving into our house we have mostly been working on fixing up the inside. It will be so
good to finally get outside and start taking care of all the weeds that have taken over my yard!!
Since spring is just right around the corner I wanted to share with you guys this great spring centerpiece.
I was walking around one of my favorite craft store the other day and I found this serving tray on clearance. I couldn’t pass up the $5 price tag. I didn’t love the color it was but knew that I would be able to re-purpose it! I even did use it for a while as is!
Once I was ready to give it a little makeover I instinctively turned to white. I love white, especially in spring and summer. It really helps to brighten any room!
I was going to just paint the whole thing white but then last minute I decided it needed to have a little pop of color.
I grabbed some 2 inch painters tape to tape off and paint some pink stripes. I am glad I decided to add them!
To style this tray I added some moss balls and a white mason jar filled with these flowers. I love how real they look! Go check out Michael’s to grab a bundle of these flowers!!
There are so many different palaces that this little tray could sit, for example:
-kitchen table
-console table
-mantel
-sofa table
-kitchen island
-nightstand
-coffee table
-hall shelf
-end tables
-you could even still use it as a serving tray. Imagine getting breakfast in bed on this beauty!!
