Butter Toffee Pretzels Ingredients

butter toffee pretzels ingredients.
  • Mini pretzel twists: I used mini pretzel twists, but square-shaped pretzels or any small hard pretzel will work in this pretzel toffee recipe. You can use gluten-free pretzels if you have a gluten sensitivity.
  • Light brown sugar: The molasses in brown sugar contributes to a rich flavor and helps create the toffee coating.
  • Salted butter: You can use unsalted butter if you wish, but I recommend adding some salt to balance the sugar flavors.
  • Light corn syrup: This sweetener prevents the sugar from crystallizing, ensuring a smooth, gooey toffee consistency. Do not use dark corn syrup.
  • Pure vanilla extract
  • Baking soda
  • Heath English toffee bits: A delicious topping for added sweetness and crunchy texture. If you can’t find a bag of Heath toffee bits in the baking aisle, you can substitute chopped toffee candy bars or crush your own.
