Texas Trash Dip is a creamy, warm bean dip that will tantalize your taste buds. Quick and easy to make in minutes, this crowd-pleasing Tex-Mex favorite is filled with refried beans, sour cream, cream cheese, green chiles, plenty of cheese, flavorful taco seasoning, and topped off with more melted gooey cheese – it’s the perfect appetizer for any party or game day gathering!
Texas Trash Dip (Warm Bean Dip)
Our Texas Trash Dip recipe is so much better than the typical boring bean dip because it is packed with flavorful ingredients plus an extra kick from spicy green chiles.
It takes under 10 minutes to prepare this Texas bean dip, simply by mixing 6 ingredients together, pouring it into a casserole dish, and baking it until the Mexican cheese blend on top is brown and bubbly.
Although McCormick may have made the original Texas dip recipe using a packet of their popular taco seasoning, I prefer to make this my own by adding more chiles to the mix and making sure there’s tons of melted cheese on top.
The perfect size for feeding a crowd because it’s baked in a large pan, this delicious dip is the ultimate appetizer for fiestas, game days, or Super Bowl parties (and it’s hearty enough to fill your hungry guests without worry of running out).
