This homemade BBQ sauce is a super simple recipe that makes a delicious blend of sweet and tart.
Are you ready for the most incredible BBQ sauce you’ve ever had?
AND it’s homemade?!
This homemade BBQ sauce is a super simple recipe that makes a delicious blend of sweet and tart. If you want less tart, then add less vinegar, but I feel that the sugar and ketchup nicely balance out the mustard and vinegar.
Try it today and prepare to be amazed!
Ingredients:
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
4 TBSP sugar
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup + 1 tbsp vinegar
1/2 cup canola oil
3 TBSP mustard
salt and pepper
Mix all ingredients together and place in a saucepan until you get a slow boil.
Then set some sauce aside for dipping and use the rest to marinate your meat.
This sauce is fantastic on beef or chicken!
I love to use mine on chicken and let it marinate in the sauce for a day before I cook it.
