You will just die at how delicious and easy this Caramel Apple Tart is. Perfect for fall, great for any time from Halloween all the way to Christmas. Heck, who says it just has to be seasonal? With only a handful of ingredients you can make this in about a half an hour. It would be great for any gathering or potluck, family party or friend get together. You don’t even need to have an excuse to make this. Add this to your next movie night adventure! The sweet flaky curst covered in delicious peanut butter and apples drizzled with warm caramel makes this dessert a knock out!
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 3 small granny smith apples, thinly sliced
- 3-4 tbsp. peanut butter
- 1/4 c. peanuts, chopped
- 1/4 c. toffee bits
- 1/4 c. caramel, warmed
- Cinnamon & sugar
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Prepare your tart by rolling your pastry in to a 9×12 rectangle. Transfer to a cookie sheet or baking stone. Spread an even layer of peanut butter along the bottom of the crust, avoiding the edges. Layer sliced apples neatly over the peanut butter. Drizzle caramel over the entire tart. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts, toffee bits & cinnamon sugar. Bake 20 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven, let cool 10 minutes.
