Ingredients
- 1 Yellow Cake Mix
- 5 tablespoons Melted Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 12 ounces Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Mix together the Yellow Cake Mix (any brand works), 5 TBSP Melted Butter and two eggs
- Stir in the Chocolate Chips
- Spread the batter into a greased 9 x 13 cake pan
- Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean

- To Store: Leftover cake bars can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days.
- Cake mix cookie bars can be frozen for up to 3 months when wrapped tightly and stored in a freezer-safe container. Thaw them in the refrigerator overnight or at room temperature for a few hours before enjoying.
- Use a hand or stand mixer to quickly mix everything together but be sure to use a wooden spoon to mix in the chocolate chips.
- If you’re going to eat these warm out of the oven, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top! It’s delicious!
