Millionaire Pie is a quick and easy no bake dessert that tastes creamy, fruity, and absolutely delicious! The tropical flavored filling takes mere minutes to make and is spread in no cook graham cracker crust before chilled, sliced, and served.
Add the coconut flakes, ¾ cup of chopped pecans, well-drained crushed pineapple, chopped cherries, and sweetened condensed milk to a mixing bowl. Stir to combine completely.
Gently fold in the 1 cup of thawed whipped topping.
Evenly spread the mixture into the premade crust. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for 7 hours. One hour before serving, move the pie to the freezer for sharp slices.
Add ½ cup of the thawed whipped topping to either a disposable piping bag or a quart-size Ziploc bag with a corner snipped off. Pipe dollops in the center and 1 dollop at the edge of each pie slice.
Place the reserved maraschino cherries with stems on top of the whipped topping dollops, sprinkle with toasted coconut flakes and reserved chopped pecans before serving.
Notes
Storage:
To Store: Store any leftover pie covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
To Freeze: You can keep the pie in the freezer, covered, for up to 3 months. Slice while still frozen and serve.
Tips:
Feel free to substitute sweetened coconut flakes for the toasted flakes to garnish your pie.
Be aware that Millionaire Pie and Million Dollar Pie are 2 different recipes.
Adding some lemon juice to your pie filling may help thicken it so it sets up well.
Drain as much juice from the crushed pineapple as possible or your filling won't set.
Move the pie to the freezer one hour before serving so the slices are sharp and clean.
