Prepare a small square pan (8 x 8 or similar size) by lining it with parchment paper (or sprayed aluminum foil).
Combine ⅔ of the White Chocolate Chips (2 ¼ cups), ⅔ of the Sweetened Condensed Milk, and 2 tablespoons of Butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 20-second bursts, stirring each time, until melted. It should take less than 2 minutes. Do not overcook.
3½ cups (2 - 12 ounce packages) White Chocolate Chips, 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 3 tablespoons unsalted Butter
Add 10 drops of Food Coloring and stir until combined and smooth. Add food coloring to adjust color.
red food coloring
Spoon ½ of the mixture into the prepared pan, and smooth with a spoon. It’s sticky, so finesse it into place. Place in the freezer for a few minutes to set. Set aside the remaining red fudge, wrapping the bowl in a couple of towels to keep it warm.
Combine remaining White Baking Chips and Sweetened Condensed Milk, and 1 tablespoon of Butter in a microwave-safe bowl. As before, microwave in 20-second bursts, stirring each time, until melted. It should take less than 2 minutes. Do not overcook.
Stir to ensure all the white chocolate mixture is melted, and spoon over the set red layer, and smooth. Place in the freezer for a few minutes to set.
When the white layer is set, warm the remaining red fudge so it can be stirred. Spoon it over the white fudge layer, and smooth.
Cover the fudge with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 2 hours.
Lift the fudge from the baking dish by pulling up the parchment paper. Place on countertop and using a small heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut hearts out of the fudge. Be efficient so you don’t waste much fudge.
Sprinkle the heart-shaped Sprinkles evenly over the top of the hearts. Enjoy!

Notes
Storage:
To Store: Valentine hearts fudge can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to two weeks. You can allow your fudge to come to room temperature before serving for a slightly softer texture.
To Freeze: Valentine hearts fudge can be frozen for up to 2 months. I suggest wrapping it in parchment paper, then tightly wrapping it in aluminum foil for best storage results when freezing.
Tips:
Be sure to use a high-quality white chocolate chip brand for this fudge recipe. The generic brands do not melt as nicely, and they can be more temperamental when trying to heat, and use them when making recipes like this maple walnut fudge.
Be sure that you add sweetened condensed milk and not evaporated milk. The fudge will not thicken up or set with evaporated milk.
Be careful not to overcook your fudge or it will become grainy.
I like to line my pan with foil or parchment paper so I can lift out the fudge and cut out the hearts on the counter instead of in the pan.
