Eyeball Jello Shots
These Eyeball Jello Shots are spooky, sweet, and perfect for Halloween parties! They’re an easy, prep-ahead spiked treat that’s creepy, colorful, and fun for an adult crowd.

Ingredients
- 3 ounce box Strawberry Jell-O gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- ½ cup cold water
- ½ cup vodka
- 12 gummy eyeball candies
Instructions
- To a large bowl, with a pour spout, add the strawberry gelatin and boiling water. Whisk until all the gelatin has been completely dissolved.3 ounce box Strawberry Jell-O gelatin, 1 cup boiling water
- Whisk in the cold water and vodka.½ cup cold water, ½ cup vodka
- Place 12 (2 ounce sized) jello shot cups onto a rimmed tray to prevent spills when transferring to the refrigerator. Slowly pour the strawberry jello mixture into each of the jello shot cups just to the fill line leaving ⅛ inch space to the top rim of the cup.
- Place the tray of jello shots into the refrigerator for 1-1 ½ hours or just until the strawberry jello shots are partially set up and firm. Place a single gummy eyeball candy onto the top of each strawberry jello shot. Return the tray of eyeball jello shots to the refrigerator, for an additional 1 ½ hours to overnight, to finish setting and firming up.12 gummy eyeball candies
- Once the eyeball jello shots have set up completely, you can place the lids onto each of the jello shot cups and stack them in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Storage:
- Make ahead: Halloween Jello Shots can be made up to 24 hours in advance for best texture and presentation.
- Store: Keep the jello shots covered and chilled in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Store in a single layer or stack with lids to save space.
- Do not freeze: Freezing will alter the texture and cause the jello to separate or become rubbery.
- Serve cold: For best results, serve directly from the fridge. They hold their shape and taste best when chilled.
- Use a pourable bowl or funnel to easily fill the plastic shot glasses without making a mess.
- Let the jello partially set before adding the gummy eyeballs so they stay on top.

- Use a rimmed baking sheet to move the filled cups in and out of the fridge without spills.
