– Lean ground beef
– Italian sausage
– Parmesan cheese
– Yellow onion
– Half & half
– Italian seasoning blend
– Salt & Black pepper
– Mozzarella cheese
Tomato & basil marinara sauce
Combine the ground beef, Italian sausage, egg, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, onion, half & half, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Scoop out the meatballs, flatten into a disc, and place a cheese cube into the center. Fold the sides around and roll into the shape of a meatball.
Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned.
Heat the marinara sauce and then spoon some onto the serving plate. Add the meatballs and top them with more warmed sauce.
Garnish with a sprinkle of grated parmesan and fresh chopped parsley.
