Sugar Cookies Bars, thick and delicious and covered with creamy whipped frosting, topped with sprinkles and perfect to eat, love, and enjoy in every bite.

For the Cookie Bars:
½cupunsalted butterroom temp
For the Homemade Frosting:
1cupunsalted butterroom temp
Salt, to taste
Food coloring (red to make the pink)
Preheat oven to 350, prepare 9x9 pan with nonstick spray.
Cream butter for a minute, then add sugar and continue to beat. Once mixed and fluffy, add eggs and vanilla extract and mix.
In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients and whisk. Slowly add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and continue mixing with a hand mixer.
Put into pan and bake for 25 minutes until lightly browned. Do not overbake!
Cool completely after baking before frosting.
With a handheld mixer, beat the butter until creamy, and then slowly add confectioners sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract and mix on low. Once everything is added, slowly turn the speed up to high and beat for 2-3 minutes.
Add a few drop of food coloring and mix in (add more food coloring to get your desired color).
Frost the bars once fully cooled and top with nonpareils as desired.
