This quick and easy S’mores Trifle recipe is a tasty twist on the traditional campfire treat. With the same sandwich flavors and a few simple steps, you’ll have all the elements of outdoor s’mores turned into a decadent indoor layered dessert.
In a large mixing bowl, whip together 2 cups of heavy whipping cream with the chocolate sauce to create a chocolate whipped cream. Set aside.
Spread the marshmallows evenly over the surface of a lined baking sheet. Broil the marshmallows for 5 minutes or until golden brown and allow them to cool before removing them from the pan.
Assemble the trifle by layering half of the graham cake squares, the chocolate whipped cream, crushed graham crackers, the other half of the cake squares, the Hershey chocolate squares, the remaining whipped cream, and finally the broiled marshmallows.
