  • 12 slices brioche bread (crusted removed)
  • 1 1/2 cups apple pie filling (homemade or store bought)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 4 eggs


  1. Lay 6 slices of bread down in a casserole dish, in an even layer. Spread apple pie filling across the bread layer. Add remaining six pieces of bread across the top.

  2. Whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla. Pour over top. Cover tightly with foil and refrigerate overnight.

  3. In the morning, preheat oven to 400 degrees. Remove foil and place casserole dish in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until top layer is golden brown and slightly crisp.

  4. Serve immediately.
