Grilled Rib Eye Steak with Ginger Teriyaki Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 1LB Boneless Rib Eye Steaks
  • 2 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 2 tsp Ground black pepper

Ingredients for the Ginger Teriyaki Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Lite soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp Minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp Fresh grated ginger
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Corn starch
  • 3 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Season steaks with garlic salt and pepper. 

  2. Pre-heat grill to 450 degrees and spray with grilling spray so steaks do not stick.

  3. Grill steaks 5 minutes per side, then remove and cover to keep warm while making the sauce. 

For the Ginger Teriyaki Sauce

  1. In a medium sauce pan over medium heat, add soy sauce, water, apple cider vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, brown sugar.  Mix to combine and bring to a slight boil. 

  2. Mix corn starch and water and pour into teriyaki sauce, stir to combine and reduce heat until sauce thickens, about 1 minute.  Pour over steaks and garnish with green onions and serve over rice (optional)
