Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best way to crush Oreo cookies?

I like to pulse my Oreos in the food processor until they are fine crumbs. If you don’t have a food processor, you can easily place your cookies in a large Ziploc bag and crush them with a rolling pin.

Can I make turtle Lasagna in advance?

You can absolutely make your dessert a day in advance, wrap it in plastic wrap, and place it in the refrigerator. When you are ready to serve, garnish it when the whipped topping, peanuts, candy, and sauces.

Can I make my dessert in a different pan?

I used a 9×9-inch pan for my dessert because I like to serve it in square slices. However, you can use a 9-inch deep pie plate if you prefer to make a turtle pie.

    Thank you!!

  2. Just curious as to why use peanuts and not pecans? As Turtles candy is pecans. Can the peanuts be changed with pecans?
