This blog post is going to be a little different than my usual posts because today I am actually going to blog about… well, blogging…this mystical profession that I love so much. I am slightly joking, but I will say that it is a bit mystical to those who might not be a part of the big bad blogging world.
I say that because I know it can be a bit confusing to people when I mention my profession! Yes, it’s true that you can make a living doing this. But, there is so much more that goes into it than just writing these posts. There is a whole other world when it comes to being a full-time blogger!
One of the major hats that all bloggers must wear, is the hat of a content creator! We are constantly creating things for others to consume, whether it’s in the format of a written blog post, something visual like a quote or Pinterest cover, or even something like a freebie!
I will always jump at the chance to meet up with and spend time with other bloggers. I love it when I can share a bit more about what I do specifically as well as connect with other people who do it, too. This is why I want to share #BlogHer20 Health with you in my blog post today.
What is BlogHer20 Health?
There are many blogging conferences out there, but #BlogHer20 Health is the largest event for women content creators in the world! Now in its sixteenth year, #BlogHer20 Health celebrates the female storytellers who use their voices to raise awareness for our collective health.
Last year, content creators gathered to be inspired and informed about the latest in health & wellness, straight from the experts who have turned their passion into a profitable business and the top brands looking for partners.
When and Where Is It?
This year, #BlogHer20 Health will take place on Saturday, February 1st, 2020 and it will be held at Downtown LA at Rolling Greens on Mateo.
Why is BlogHer Health Beneficial?
The most notable benefit of attending events like this is the connection that you are able to make with others. You can network with like-minded women and make great friends who actually understand what you DO!
Not to mention, there are amazing speakers! They cover a wide range of relevant topics. In the blogging world, you can’t ever stop learning because things are constantly changing. I love to learn by attending conferences and hearing from the expert speakers!
Who Are the Speakers?
#BlogHer20 Health already has an epic lineup of speakers! I could try to tell you about them all right here, but this post would never end. They are all so good.
To learn more about the speaker line-up for the 2020 event, you can head over to their website and read about each of the speakers individually. I love to do this so that I can make a list of all those I absolutely can’t miss! Find the line-up right here.
What Other Types Of Events Can I Expect?
Conferences such as this are so much more than just networking and speakers. They always have so many other fun events happening. Here are some of the ones that stood out to me!
- Friday, 1/31 (5 pm): Private Workout from The Class & panel on non-opiate treatment options sponsored by Pacira.
- Friday 1/31 (6:30): Private cocktail event sponsored by Nature Made.
Best of all, both of these events are completely free, there is not any additional cost! If you’re interested in attending please email [email protected]
This is just a quick snapshot of all that this conference has to offer. It can be a great way to build up your blog in 2020. Connecting with other experienced bloggers is invaluable!
