Hey, that’s really neat and different. I love barn wood projects but would never have thought to make the wood the feature in a frame.
I love this finish and I’m about to stain a large table we just made for out patio. What do you think I could use to seal the table on top of the Annie Sloan paint? I’ve never done this before so any advice would be greatly appreciated!
A lovely addition to your mantel! I invite you to share at the Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop ( every Thursday or you can link up today until midnight) Hugs!

Hi . Did you have paint mixed in the white tint based stain ?? Thanks !
I have the same question. I’m looking for a stain this color, but I went to Home Depot and they said that they don’t have any available. The can has a sticker like the ones they put on when they mix paint, but I’m not sure.
What is “bender board”?
Its a long thin board used by landscapers as edging between turf and landscape beds. Typically 4 or 5 inches high by 10 – 20 foot lengths. Comes in steel, plastic, and wood.
Look for it in the outdoor area of your local big box home improvement store.
So I got the exact stain and it’s white?! I’m not sure what I missed! I tried it on the wood and it’s white.
Did Home Depot mix the stain for you
Hi, could you tell me what department did you get this board. I am struggling to find it at Home Depot. Thanks in advance, Kay P.S. This concept is awesome!
